Speakeasy for parents
It's important to be involved with the work your kids' school does on wellbeing. Research has shown that kids whose parents are involved with school get higher marks, have a better attitude towards learning and develop more confidence.
Your kids' sex and relationships education (SRE) lessons in school are designed to complement the discussions you have with them at home. Talking to your kids about relationships and sex doesn't need to be difficult or embarrassing; with a little help from Speakeasy, it can be really rewarding and fun.
In a fun, informal Speakeasy session with other parents and carers, you can think about your own views, values and morals and what really matters to you in relationships and home life. Speakeasy will help you make discussion of this part of normal life with your kids (not just a one-off talk!). It will help you to feel confident about talking naturally with your kids, which in turn will encourage them to be more relaxed and open with you.
