the FIT Family and School Pedometer Challenge
"What a simple but amazing way of getting children and parents exercising more! The pedometer challenge is getting everyone talking here, I've had children showing me how many steps they have walked all day long. One even said he got up early so he could run round the garden 20 times before school.The parents and staff are getting quite competitive about it - I've certainly made more trips to the office today in an effort to beat my TA. and I heard 2 of our FIT parents comparing progress in the playground". This website will support the FIT courses taking place in schools. It will provide information, ideas and inspiration for schools, kids and families including links to interesting and useful sites and information about what's happening in Cornwall.

- FIT 4 Schools is about our FIT courses, Family Fun Fit, our lunchbox workshops and so on.
- FIT 4 Families is about healthier lifestyles and the help and advice available in Cornwall.
- FIT 4 Kids will have lots of games and activities for kids as well as links to all sorts of useful information.
- Further FIT is about other family activities such as the fabulous Speakeasy courses.
FIT Cornwall has been inspired by Change4Life.
In August 2011 FIT Cornwall was awarded a Big Lottery Grant to help us bring FIT to more schools and involve more families.
